The Four Communities Fire Department is an all volunteer, Fire Rescue, non-profit corporation, that provides prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery services to the residents and business in the areas of Sharpes, Cocoa, Frontenac, Canaveral Groves and Port St John on the Space Coast of Florida..
The Four Communities Fire Department, located in Cocoa, FL, provides fire protection and emergency response services to the Cocoa community. The Fire Department’s mission is to prevent the loss of life and property. In addition to responding to fires, the Four Communities Fire Department also responds to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.
Driver Training
Training new recruits on the different apparatus available.
Search & Rescue Training
The members of FCFD28 spent Tuesday night conducting intensive rescue training enhancing their skills at searching smoke filled rooms and searching for and rescuing patients with little to no visibility.
FCFD Hose Testing
FCFD members conducting yearly hose testing to ensure the equipment is functional during an incident.
Vehicle Crash Training
Last night FCFD volunteers trained on radio communications during a simulated car crash with limited access to the patient.
