FCFD Air 28 responded to assist on this fire tonight. …. Separately, FCFD E28 with another crew also responded to a minor vehicle crash this evening.

Multiple Brevard County Fire Rescue units along with Rockledge, Melbourne, Four Communities VFD and Cocoa responded to a scrap yard fire tonight. Upon arrival, dozens of vehicles were on fire and spreading quickly. The incident is in the area of Trade Mark Recycling on Ansin Road in South Rockledge. The cause is yet to be determined and there are no injuries. Crews have the fire under control. UPDATE: The incident’s location has been updated as : Scrappy’s Auto Salvage at 5025 Korbin Av. Approximately 75+ autos were damaged/destroyed. Cause is undetermined. Call came in at 19:04 hrsLast units cleared at 22:49 hrs.
